About the Founder:
Jessica Levy, J.D.: Jessica Levy is a 2008 graduate of Western New England College School of Law. Prior to obtaining her J.D. Jessica received her B.A. in History at Mount Holyoke College. Jessica has been a workers’ rights advocate for many years, and is an active member of Western Mass. Jobs with Justice. She volunteers her time working with local unions and labor organizations as a means to promote a living wage and better working conditions for employees in the Pioneer Valley and beyond.
During law school, Jessica interned at the Springfield office of Western Massachusetts Legal Services in the Unemployment Compensation Benefits Department, and for the Center for Public Representation, located in Northampton, Massachusetts. After law school, Jessica worked as a Junior Associate for a union-side labor law firm in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, and was also employed as a Community Organizer/Election Mobilizer for Neighbor to Neighbor, a grassroots non-profit whose goal is to empower low-income community members through active participation in local politics and community events.
